Monday: Vocabulary review and fluency assessment; typing practice
Tuesday: Reading and remediation (Tuesday instead of Friday).
Wednesday: Last day to submit assignments. How writers create characters: movie
Thursday: Elements of Plot: movie

October 9th - 13th
This week students will focus on the English alphabet, fluency, grammar, and typing.
Monday: English alphabet practice; subject pronouns, object pronouns, possessive adjectives, and possessive pronouns.
Tuesday: English alphabet practice; typing practice.
Wednesday: English alphabet practice, fluency practice.

October 2nd - 6th
This week students will take the MWEA assessment of Reading And Mathematics. This state assessment will be used as a benchmark for learning and growth as they year progresses.
We will continue Unit 1 and learn about Subject Verb Agreement, the "W words" and continue our work on fluency.
Monday: Subject Verb Agreement and Practice 3; review Friday's quiz.
Tuesday: "W words" and Practice 4.
Wednesday: Fluency and Practice 5
Thursday: Quiz on Unit 1.
Friday: Reading and Remediation (R&R)
September 25th - 29th
This week we will assess our mastery of basic school vocabulary and school survival sentences. We will learn about subjects and pronouns in English.
September 18th - 22nd
This week we will learn common class and school vocabulary and school survival sentences. We will begin fluency practice and start learning letter names and sounds in English.
September 11th - 15th
This week we will learn basic classroom routines, write Six Word Memoirs, and write letters to our future selves.
September 4th - 8th
This week we will learn basic classroom routines and build class community.
